MY LIFE

DRAWING HAS TAUGHT ME TO DARE TO DREAM

Hobby is something that everyone had. As for me, hobby is something that can fill my free time (especially) and also can "heal" me whenever i felt emotional. (is it to much? haha) when I'm still a kid, hobby is like my "friend" - it fill my emptiness, my sadness, my happiness and lots of ness. hahahaha. [sorry for the joke grammer :P]
DRAWING has accompany and helped me to grew up in this life, learnt about life and what is most important is, it helped me to realized how BIG my dream to be somebody in this world.
 ;)

--------------DRAWING HAVE BRIGHTENED MY LIFE--------------

I can say that drawing is my first hobby in my life.  It all began when I'm still in primary school, that time I'm still in grade 6 [12y.o]  Yeah, i began to have serious hobby when my age reach 12 years old. Sad. XD
I still remembered the day when one of my friend in class challenge me to draw DIGIMON. [In my era that time, anime Digimon gain it's popularity and kids was crazy with it].  My friend was really good at drawing, all my friends in class respect him because able to draw nicely in his ages.  One day, he challenge me to draw Digimon Monsters.  I was a quite boy and rarely talk with other students.  I was really confused that time why he challenge me, i guess he teasing me to look cool among student. huhu
So he gave both of us time to drew in a sketch book for 3 days.  Guess what, I win the challenge. students are praising me more than him. I am able to draw lots of Robot and monsters with the details of the characters. haha.  That time i realized, i actually got talent in drawing.  So since then, I'm entering the world of drawing.
The first generation of Digimon is the best! Digimon has help me improving lots of my drawing skills.
After several years duplicated Digimon drawing, I am able to draw almost all their monsters and able to draw my own comic. Thanks a lot!

Time passed as I'm entering Secondary school, Form 1 [13y.o] and for the first time i managed to finish my first COMIC called "King of Sword" with 6 pages. When I asked my new friends to read my comic, i got plenty warm applause from them and that time i almost cried. haha. for the first time in my life in the ages of 13 I got a big applause from other peoples and that is my first success I already achieved.  That moments was precious to me. :') and that time I realized that being a success person can makes you satisfied, happy, superb & great.  What a wonderful feeling to me.
While I'm in secondary school, i had created 3 one-shot-comic and 1 comic series.  My comic series with the title of "Power Ball" has gain its popularity among the students and teachers in school [and some other school] and friends from my housing area.  I began this series when I'm in Form 2 [14 y.o] and end up on Form 5 [17 y.o].

Power Ball: The only Comic Series I've made. [2003 - 2006]
I' made this series to give a highest tribute to Digimon for helped me along my journey to become cartoonist.  The story line of this comic a bit similar to Digimon, Pokemon, Beyblade and Medabots, because in my era, this genre is very popular - monsters as a friends, journey, friendships and competition among fighter.
SHEN is my nickname in Comic. :P

---------------------------LIFE HAD STOLED MY PASSION----------------------------

BUT, this is where life begin.  As I graduated from High School on 2006, I started to work somewhere around Kota Kinabalu city. Working forced me to stop drawing for a while because of limited times I had for a day and always tired every time I went home.
After 2 years working as Salesman, I've continued studying in Yayasan Sabah College in 2008 - 2010 taking Diploma in Building Technology Construction.  Why Construction? Because my parents that time didn't support me to taking art courses as they believed art courses will led me nowhere and hard to get a job in future.  I have no choice but to accepted what they believed.

When this happened, my passion, my motivation and my interest in drawing slowly fade away.  Times changed as I am busy with studying construction for 3 years, I've spent my 3 years studying seriously how construction worked!  My passion in drawing comic is completely fade away as I am getting interested on Construction and I graduated with Diploma Class 1 on getting one of the highest CGPA student in Construction with 3.93 pointer overall semester.  [In Malaysia, the highest CGPA for every college or university is 4.00 - well, most likely]

But in the end, I realized being in construction field is not what i want to do for a long period.  I managed to become architect and site contractor once after I graduated but trust me, construction field is not easy.  U don't have a choice but to learnt 10, 20 or until 50 years to understanding completely how construction worked. I don't have that much time because I want to success while I'm still young.

--------------MY MASTERPIECE'S ARTWORK--------------

ONE DAY, on 2009 - I realized after I graduated from college I will have my real job out there and will be really busy with life and I realized I don't have time for drawing any more.  So I DECIDED to draw my MASTERPIECE's artwork which is my comic called "KREKO CREW" and some Unique Illustration/Poster.
Kreko is Malaysian Comic Magazine that published lot's of Japanese comic [Manga] and since I'm a fans of Kreko since 14 years old, I decided to drew a fantasy comic with the character of the kreko's crew/worker to appreciated kreko for revealed lot's of nice manga since I was a kid.

Kreko Crew: My Masterpiece comic before I retreat from drawing. [this is the ending panel b'coz I don't scanned the cover of this comic :P].  Kreko Crew comic has 27 pages total and I spent 6 months to finished this comic.

The story is based on kreko's crew, going to the fantasy journey to their own magazine to save kreko from being destroyed by Doctor Mashirito.  Who is Dr Mashirito? Dr Mashirito is a bad character from the popular one-shot-manga called "Jump Super Star" by Yusuke Murata.  The role of Dr Mashirito is to destroy popular manga called Shonen Jump Magazine when suddenly he failed because of Hero from shonen jump character came and save the world.  AND he came again in my comic [:P] to destroy Kreko Magazine.

ATTENTION:
For those who read this, please bear in mind that my comic is made for fun, for my own personal kept.  We are not talk about copyright here because I don't publish my comic officially to any magazine. Tq :3

However, I did sent my comic to Kreko Magazine so that they can read my comic as 1 of their biggest fans of kreko.  I BELIEVED they've read that because my comic been published on the "Show-off corner" in their magazine. [Show-Off corner is a small corner for fans artwork].  It was the happiest moments of my life and the greatest feedback when suddenly I've received lots of fans letter from different states of Malaysia to supported me and continuously doing a good job. But sadly, I've made my decision and its final.  However, It is very special moments to me. Great memories. :')

Year of 2009 was my last involvement in the world of drawing.  I've made my Masterpiece artwork and kept it in my files and I will bring it until I grew old. ^^
Well, although I'm not a great artist, at least I have learnt the fun of drawing manga.  It was really enjoy. :)

--------------MY REAL LIFE HAS JUST STARTED--------------

Many people asked me why I quitted from drawing.  There's only a simple reason for this:
LIFE had forced me to stop drawing as people grew older, they got lots of commitment to do for brighter future.
When I'm entered colleges on 2008, I realized from that on, I will have a hard time in managing my time on drawing as I'm busy on my studying.  While I'm drawing my masterpiece artwork on 2009, I also had a hard time to finished the comic due to the busy college schedule I had that time.  And when I'm graduated on 2010, the busy continuously push me when I got a job as an Architect on a firm and at the same time work as a contractor. LIFE is cruel. agree? lol XD
For me, I am a man who have vision in life - To become a successful person in this young ages [before I reach age of 30].  The word success itself is not easy to grab and not easy to achieved.  You need to going through lots of difficulties and lots of experiences in life to achieved it.  We only live once, use this life of yours to gain as much experience you will get and get success at least once.  You will never regret it.  Open up your mind and do something with your life.  Go out and get busy but most IMPORTANTLY get out from your COMFORT ZONE and learn new things in life.  Fight for your life, fight for your future.

REMEMBER,
"Some people dream of success while others work hard for it."
